BACKGROUND:
After 14 years of archaeological excavations on the Gallo-Roman remains in the Moutier-Rozeille commune of the Creuse region, the DRAC Nouvelle Aquitaine has decided to make this exceptional site a long-term project. To continue the dynamic innovation begun with an “archaeothon” in 2021, the idea of creating a project to enhance the commune’s heritage through the animation of an innovation network between professionals and students is emerging.
SERVICES PROVIDED
{CORRESPONDANCES DIGITALES] supported the DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine in :
- Scope of the project to create an interpretation trail for the commune (material, technical, human and financial requirements).
- Identify the physical and digital mediation content that can and should be created (plans, photos, texts, 3D models, podcasts, etc.).
- Identify partners and service providers to mobilize: University of Limoges, University of La Rochelle, Archéovision, fablab (le 400), printer, public authorities (communes, communities of communes, département, region), etc.
- Coordinate, lead and promote this project with all partners through regular workshops.
DELIVERABLES
- A response to a regional call for projects to raise the necessary funds for the project.
- Project management tools and bodies (budget, schedule, monitoring/coordination meetings)
- Preparation and organization of 2 collaborative events with around 50 students in design, heritage and digital mediation, and professionals in innovation and heritage (archaeologists, laboratories, fablabs, etc.).
OBTAINED RESULTS
- A 2km heritage trail, with 5 stages and 8 information panels.
- Setting up a network of partners to make the commune a ground for experimentation and educational innovation.
