The NUMIX LAB has come to an end, and what a success it has been! With 272 participants, we surpassed the attendance record set in 2023. Professionals from 20 countries, including 15 from the European Union, came together to celebrate and develop immersive cultural creation.
Some key figures:
- 272 participants, including 91 newcomers, 135 French-speaking participants (50%) and 134 women (49%)
- 1 country, 3 cities, 29 venues visited
- 13 networking events, strengthening international connections
- 71 speakers, including 34 women (48%)
This 5ᵉ edition marks a significant turning point by asserting a resolutely European orientation, as evidenced by the participation figures. Of the 272 participants, 88% were from Europe, with a strong representation of 94 Germans, 71 French and 25 Belgians, as well as delegates from Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sweden and the Czech Republic. There were also 33 participants from North America, mainly Canada, as well as one Mediterranean representative from Tunisia.
Many thanks to our local co-producers for their involvement and commitment XR HUB Bavaria, XRBB – Extended Reality Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. and Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig GmbH.
Finally, a huge thank you to all the participants, partners and contributors who made this edition such an outstanding success.
We look forward to seeing you in 2025 in Hungary and Austria for the 6th edition!
