BACKGROUND:
In the run-up to its reopening after renovation (2023), the museum’s Marketing and Publics department wishes to structure and launch a permanent Audience Observatory to support, study and develop audiences as well as the museum’s own resources. Open to a variety of audiences, both individual and institutional, these user committees will make it possible, prior to the museum’s reopening, to identify audience expectations, motivations and obstacles, and then contribute to the construction, testing and adjustment of the museum’s planned offers and services.

- The definition of operating and leadership methods for these user committees.
- Evaluate and promote these user committees with a view to making them permanent as part of a permanent public observatory.

OBTAINED RESULTS
- 3 workshops carried out to test and validate the accessibility of the museum itinerary, and the relevance of the workshops, tours and teaching aids envisaged.
- Between 20 and 30 users / museum partners mobilized from the social / disability and educational fields.
- Areas for optimization prioritized with museum teams and the scenography agency in charge of redesigning the museum’s museography.
