BACKGROUND:
Nouvelle-Aquitaine is France’s leading region in terms of the number of listed buildings (6008). Many of these heritage sites have embarked on particularly inspiring digital innovation initiatives. The region is very active in supporting and promoting the projects of its cultural and heritage players, and would like to promote this involvement to the sector’s professional community on a national level.
SERVICES PROVIDED
{CORRESPONDANCES DIGITALES] supported the Cultural Digital Service of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region in :
- The identification of inspiring digital projects to be promoted by cultural venues in the Neo-Aquitaine region.
- The writing of articles to highlight practices and trends on the Region’s digital service website, to be shared with professionals in the heritage sector (examples of themes covered: encouraging public participation, restoring sensory and visual impressions, reconstituting lost heritage through digital means, etc.).
- The design of an e-book, signed by the President of the Region, to promote the Region’s activities in the area, for use by heritage professionals at a national level.
- Definition and implementation of the communication strategy for this publication (press relations, events, web communication and social networks).
DELIVERABLES
- A collection of articles, project sheets and interviews focusing on 6 concrete professional themes, leafed through throughout the summer of 2020.
- A 104-page e-book bringing together all the content produced as part of this operation to present the region’s innovative projects in a dynamic way.
OBTAINED RESULTS
- Interviews with 7 professionals from the Neo-Aquitaine region, presented by theme and put into perspective.
- Focus on 17 innovative systems.
- Over 10,000 downloads of the ebook.
