Inventory of the region's cultural and digital immersive ecosystem, and definition of a plan to promote it.

BACKGROUND:

Out of 124 particularly attractive cultural venues in the region, over 60 hosted digital and immersive projects in 2022. In view of this dynamic trend, the Région Grand Est wishes to define a strategic action plan in close consultation with local authorities, cultural venues and their digital partners. This action plan aims to define structuring actions and a support strategy to meet the needs of the region’s public and private players (monitoring, training, networking and international support).

SERVICES PROVIDED

{CORRESPONDANCES DIGITALES] supported the Region in :

  • A study of digital projects carried out in the region by cultural venues, to gain a better understanding of their typologies, the companies that have helped create these projects, and their financing models.
  • A series of interviews with key players in the industry (design studios, local authorities, associations and museum institutions) to identify their needs and expectations in terms of support.
  • The preparation of two collective intelligence workshops with the Region to share ideas on the projects to be implemented and build a short- and medium-term roadmap.
  • The definition of priority actions to be carried out by the Region with a view to fostering a dynamic visible on a national and international level.
  • Presentation of the strategic action plan to local players at a regional event with the regional representative in charge of culture (200 participants);

DELIVERABLES

  • Mapping of innovative cultural venues (including visitor numbers), immersion players, support networks and available funding.
  • Strategic action plan.

OBTAINED RESULTS

  • A detailed overview of the region’s immersive cultural offering and the network of professional players involved in the Image sector.
  • A clear roadmap for 2022 and 2023.
  • Networking and support initiatives to be launched by the end of 2022 (coaching sessions, creation of an international event).
